Telekom cooperates with SKY as service provider for UEFA EURO 2024™

As the rights holder for all 51 UEFA EURO 2024™ matches in Germany, Deutsche Telekom has agreed on a far-reaching collaboration with Sky: Magenta TV will distribute its European Championship programme via Sky for the catering offer and for official public viewings. There, football fans can watch the matches live - presented by the best team of experts and commentators such as Johannes B. Kerner, Michael Ballack, Tabea Kemme and Wolff Fuß.
Arnim Butzen, Head of TV at Deutsche Telekom, says: "All 51 EURO 2024 matches will only be available on MagentaTV. We want to take the enthusiasm for the EURO at home to a new level. Live broadcasts in catering establishments and traditional public viewing are essential for this, as these mass phenomena captivate millions of people. The details of the distribution cooperation
For broadcasts in thousands of restaurants, hotels and pubs with Sky hardware, up to three MagentaTV channels will be uploaded to existing Sky receivers free of charge. Interested businesses that have not yet taken out a Sky subscription will have the opportunity to book the channels via Sky.
Interested parties can apply to UEFA for official public viewing events via this link. Following a successful application, Sky will provide the necessary hardware before the start of the tournament. This means that the organisers will receive all 51 matches in HD quality, including the parallel matches and the MagentaTV conference on the decisive third group match days.
